Handmade using a potter’s wheel, and kiln fired in a low oxygen environment. The finish is a thin layer of carbon that adheres to the pottery during firing, creating an unique landscape-like gradient. The tea strainer is hand drilled, and is gentle enough to use for sencha green teas, or deep-steamed teas.
